Position Overview:

Evergreen Machine & Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team. As a Welder/Fabricator, you will play a vital role in our production process by fabricating and welding metal components to create high-quality products. Key Responsibilities:

1. Welding: Perform various types of welding, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to join metal components accurately and securely.

2. Fabrication: Fabricate metal components using cutting, bending, and shaping techniques to meet design specifications.

3. Blueprint Interpretation: Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure precise fabrication and welding.

4. Quality Assurance: Conduct visual inspections and non-destructive tests to verify the quality and integrity of welded joints and fabricated components.

5. Tool Operation: Operate metalworking machinery and tools, such as grinders, shears, and saws, to prepare materials for welding and fabrication.

6. Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

7. Material Handling: Handle and store materials in a safe and organized manner.

8. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of welding and fabrication processes and production data.

9. Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient production and quality standards are met.

Qualifications:

1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification in welding and fabrication is preferred.

2. Experience: Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator, with a minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.

3. Welding Skills: Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques, with the ability to pass welding qualification tests.

4. Fabrication Skills: Strong skills in metal fabrication, including cutting, bending, and shaping metal.

5. Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

6. Safety Consciousness: Commitment to adhering to safety guidelines and maintaining a safe work environment.
