Position Summary
Supervise and participate in the electrical assembly, installation, erection, and preparation of electrical equipment and related structures designed and manufactured by ProEnergy Services for the electric power generation, transmission, and distribution industry.
Position location will vary depending on project.
Position requires 90% travel.
Position Responsibilities
- Must possess the ability to perform the Work Responsibilities of a Lead Man.
- Must possess the ability to establish and maintain good working relations with customers, general contractors, craft employees, owners, engineers, other trades and venders.
- Must possess the ability to work with estimators, project managers, field supervisors and office personal.
- Must possess the ability to properly implement job planning by knowing the specifics of the job and identifying changes in the scope of work.
- Must possess the ability to organize and procure tools, equipment and material.
- Must possess the ability to manage start times, breaks and lunch periods effectively.
- Must be responsible for timely rental equipment and shop tool returns.
- Perform two week look ahead for tools, material and manpower.
- Perform labor tracking.
- Must be able to assist with job projections.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Must have Previous Construction Experience
- Attend training courses in safety, project management and personal achievement. Train workers under foreman supervision in safety and installation skills.
- All employees are expected to be “safety coordinators” for themselves and fellow workers. They are responsible for implementation of ProEnergy Services Corporate Safety and Loss Prevention program at every level of work responsibility.
- Manage direct hire labor.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state driver’s license required.
- Must possess five years previous construction experience
- Experience building relationships with all levels of management.
- Must be willing to travel as required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem solving abilities.
- Ability to organize and prioritize day-to-day activities for electrical activities
- Ability to coordinate work with other discipline leads
- Ability to work in a fast paced, challenging environment.
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
- Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check
