The project engineer assists the project controls manager, in managing all aspects of a project including the organization, planning, scheduling, subcontractor scheduling, and day-to-day issues, in a manner that results in completion of a project on time, on budget, and a quality that meets or exceeds the customer's expectations. By ensuring proper company/customer procedures are followed, and established budgets and schedules are adhered to.

Job Schedule: M-F, 10 hours/day

Location: Kingman, AZ

Rate: up to $50/hour (depending on experience)

Per diem: $150.00/day (days worked - must meet mileage requirements)

Duties and Responsibilities of Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager (including but not limited to):

As required, interact with key members of the project team and client organization to develop overall project construction plans and master schedules, as well as detailed system turnover schedules
Develop EPC schedules using P6 software in an enterprise environment in collaboration with procurement, construction, and client representatives; Baseline existing projects to schedule and cost parameters and metrics
Must have ability to understand and analyze durations and logic of all phases of the project to ensure credibility of the schedule and to clearly convey critical and near-critical paths
Provide scenario “what if” planning and quantitative risk analysis of schedule
Set up, prepare and maintain weekly/monthly project and program reports including quantitative progress and analysis, schedule performance, cost forecasting, cash flow forecasting
Possess ability to direct and lead others, clearly convey information, actively communicate and work in a collaborative environment
Possess excellent communication and presentation skills
Attend required and refresher training related to company and regulatory compliance
Regular and reliable attendance at work

Experience/Qualifications of Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager:

Proficient in P6 scheduling software, Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
Experience in industrial construction
