We currently have two (2) Ironworker positions to fill. We are looking for dedicated, skilled candidates who care about workmanship. Responsibilities:

Work as part of a team to erect, install, and repair iron structures
Operate machinery, equipment, and power tools
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as an ironworker
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to work at heights and in various temperatures
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Ability to read prints and construction drawings
Good problem-solving abilities

Physical Requirements:

Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting
Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull: objects, materials, controls, and tools.
May be required to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50lbs
Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding using the appropriate fall protection equipment
Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves, and steel-toed work boots

Other Requirements:

Ability to pass drug tests
Ability to pass background checks
Ability to pass a job-related physical examination
Possess a clean, valid driver’s license
Willing to work overtime
Willing to work in all weather conditions
Willing to work in various locations in CT, MA, and RI (occasionally other nearby states)
Willing to be a team player and work well with others
