Certified Transmission is looking for Production Welders to join our Council Bluffs manufacturing plant. At Certified Transmission, you'll join a dedicated team of over 400 employees spread across our remanufacturing facilities. With over 50,000 transmissions remanufactured annually for our nationwide network, we have a commitment to excellence.

What to expect as a welder:

Monday – Friday schedule, no nights or weekends
7:30am – 5pm (45 hours per week)
Pay range of $28 - $32 per hour

Duties of the welder will include:

Monitor production work orders for specific work instructions.
Welding all torque converters and / or components.
Pressure testing all torque converters; repairing leaks when necessary.
Completing all quality tests for each converter. This will include run-out test, pressure test, internal test, and verification of part number.
Maintaining a steady flow of parts on the production line.
Inspecting converters for defects.
Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the weld booth and surrounding area

Qualifications of the Production Welder include:

1+ years welding experience
Mig and / or Tig experience
Associates degree or welding certificate preferred
